In February 2025, Raising Women Initiative hosted a webinar to launch its yearly agenda on The Woman: Her Worth, Wealth, and Wellbeing, aiming to provide women with tools and insights for holistic growth. The initiative was informed by the reality that many women lack access to practical knowledge on financial empowerment, mental wellness, and personal development, often due to systemic and societal limitations.

Through expert-led discussions, the webinar created a safe and engaging space for learning, reflection, and dialogue. Speakers shared strategies for building confidence, managing resources effectively, and prioritizing well-being as foundational pillars for sustainable growth.

Participants engaged actively, exploring the interconnectedness of health, wealth, and emotional resilience, and how these elements influence everyday decision-making. Over 500 people were reached through the live session and follow-up engagements, reflecting strong interest and resonance with the content. Attendees were encouraged to apply the insights gained within their families, workplaces, and communities.

By combining education, awareness, and practical guidance, the webinar reinforced RWI’s mission to nurture women who can thrive personally and professionally. The event set a strong tone for RWI’s 2025 programming, emphasizing that lasting empowerment is built through knowledge, self-worth, and collective support.

One of the defining moments of the session was captured in the words of Dr. May Ikeora-Amamgbo, who stated, “A woman’s worth is her first currency. Her wellbeing is her first bank. And when a woman rises, wealth does not follow her, wealth erupts around her.” This quote anchored the conversation, reinforcing the belief that empowerment begins internally before it manifests externally.
